By registering for any Run for HERitage event, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your registration.
1. Eligibility
- The event is open to all genders aged 16 years and above.
- Participants below 18 must have written parental or guardian consent submitted before race day.
- All participants must be medically fit to run their selected distance.
- By registering, you confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria above.
2. Registration
- Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment.
- Each participant must provide accurate personal details. Incorrect details may lead to disqualification without refund.
- Race BIB numbers are assigned after payment and cannot be transferred or sold to another person.
- T-shirt size selected at registration is final and cannot be changed after payment confirmation.
- Registrations are non-transferable between events, cities, or individuals.
3. Health & Safety
- Participants are solely responsible for assessing their physical fitness prior to registering.
- It is strongly recommended to consult a physician before participating, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.
- Medical aid will be available along the race route and at the finish line.
- The organiser reserves the right to withdraw any participant deemed medically unfit or unsafe during the event.
- Participants must carry adequate hydration for the duration of the race.
4. Participant Conduct
- Participants must follow all instructions from race officials, volunteers, and medical staff at all times.
- Aggressive, offensive, or disruptive behaviour will result in immediate disqualification without refund.
- Use of performance-enhancing drugs or banned substances is strictly prohibited and will lead to disqualification.
- Personal audio devices (earphones, headphones) must not be used on the race route for safety reasons.
- Littering on the race route is prohibited. Please use designated waste bins.
- Participants must stay within designated race routes and follow all traffic safety guidelines.
5. Photography & Media Consent
- By registering, participants grant Run for HERitage the right to photograph, film, or record their participation.
- These images and recordings may be used for promotional purposes including social media, website, print, and broadcast.
- Participants who wish to opt out must notify the organiser in writing at query@runforheritage.com before the event.
6. Liability Waiver
- Run for HERitage, its directors, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and associates shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage arising from participation in the event.
- Participants assume all risks associated with running and outdoor events, including but not limited to adverse weather, road conditions, and personal health.
- The organiser is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property during the event.
- By registering, participants acknowledge and accept these risks.
7. Event Modifications
- The organiser reserves the right to modify the race route, start time, or format due to safety, weather, or logistical reasons.
- In the event of cancellation or postponement due to force majeure (natural disasters, government orders, etc.), the refund policy as stated in our Refund Policy will apply.
- The organiser's decision on all event matters is final and binding.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from participation in Run for HERitage events shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
