When you register for a Run for HERitage event, we collect the following personal information:

• Full name, email address, and phone number
• Date of birth and gender
• City and T-shirt size
• Blood group and emergency contact details
• Payment transaction ID (we never store card or bank details)

How We Use Your Information

• To send your race BIB number and e-ticket via email
• For race day safety, medical response, and emergency contact purposes
• To send race-related updates, communications, and results
• To personalise your race kit (e.g., T-shirt size)
• To comply with legal and regulatory requirements

Payment Security

All payment processing is handled by Razorpay, which is fully PCI DSS compliant. We never see, store, or have access to your credit/debit card details or bank account information. Your payment data is held securely by Razorpay under their own privacy and security framework.

Data Sharing

We may share limited participant data (name, BIB number, finish time) with race timing vendors, medical providers on race day, and relevant event partners strictly for the purpose of running the event. We do not share your contact details with sponsors or advertisers.

Photography & Media

By registering, participants consent to being photographed or filmed during the event. These images may be used for promotional purposes including social media, website, and print materials. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing at query@runforheritage.com before the event.

Data Retention

We retain participant data for up to 2 years after the event for record-keeping and safety purposes, after which it is securely deleted. Transaction records may be retained longer as required by applicable tax or financial regulations.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of any inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations)
• Withdraw consent to receiving communications from us
